SLOW DANCE
Have you ever watched kids
On a merry-go-round?
Or listened to the rain
Slapping on the ground?
Ever followed a butterfly's erratic flight?
Or gazed at the sun into the fading night?
You better slow down.
Don't dance so fast.
Time is short.
The music won't last.
Do you run through each day
On the fly?
When you ask How are you?
Do you hear the reply?
When the day is done
Do you lie in your bed
With the next hundred chores
Running through your head?
You'd better slow down
Don't dance so fast.
Time is short.
The music won't last.
Ever told your child,
We'll do it tomorrow?
And in your haste,
Not see his sorrow?
Ever lost touch,
Let a good friendship die
Cause you never had time
To call and say,"hi"
You'd better slow down.
Don't dance so fast.
Time is short.
The music won't last.
When you run so fast to get somewhere
You miss half the fun of getting there.
When you worry and hurry through your day,
It is like an unopened gift....
Thrown away.
Life is not a race.
Do take it slower
Hear the music
Before the song is over.

A picture began circulating in November. It should be "The Picture Year," or perhaps, "Picture of the Decade." It won't be. In fact, unless you obtained a copy of the US paper which published it, you probably
will never see it. The picture is that of a 21-week-old unborn baby named Samuel
Alexander Armas, who is being operated on by a surgeon named Joseph Bruner. The baby was diagnosed with spina bifida and would not survive if
removed from his mother's womb. Little Samuel's mother, Julie Armas, is an obstetrics nurse in Atlanta. She knew of Dr. Bruner's remarkable surgical procedure. Practicing at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, he performs these special operations while the baby is still in the womb. During the procedure, the doctor removes the uterus via C-section and makes a small incision to operate on the baby. As Dr. Bruner completed the surgery on little Samuel, the little guy reached his tiny, but fully developed, hand through the incision and firmly grasped the surgeon's finger. In a Time Europe article highlighting new pregnanacy imagery that show the formation of major organs and other significant evidence of the formation of human life but a few days after conception. Dr. Bruner was reported as saying that when his finger was grasped, it was the most emotional
moment of his life, and that for an instant during the procedure he was just frozen, totally immobile. The photograph captures this amazing event with perfect clarity. The editors titled the picture," Hand of Hope." The text explaining the picture begins, "The tiny hand of 21-week-old fetus Samuel Alexander Armas emerges from the mother's uterus to grasp the finger of Dr. Joseph Bruner as if thanking the doctor for the gift of life." Little Samuel's mother said they "wept for days" when they saw the picture. She said, "The photo reminds us my pregnancy isn't about disability or an illness, it's about a little person." Samuel was born in perfect health, the operation 100 percent successful. Now see the actual picture and it's awesome....incredible.

Have you ever wondered which hurts the most?
Saying something and wishing you hadn't?, or
Saying nothing and
wishing you had?
I guess the
most important things are the hardest things to say.
Don't be afraid to
tell someone you love them. If you do, they might
break your heart...if you don't,
you might break theirs.
Your heart decides whom it likes and whom it doesn't.
You
can't tell your heart what to do.
It does it on its own....when you
least suspect it, or even when you
don't want it to.
Have you ever
wanted to love someone with everything you had, but that
other person was
too afraid to let you?
Too many of us stay
walled up because we are too afraid to care too
much...for
fear that the other person does not care as much, or even at
all.
Have you ever
denied your feelings for someone because your fear of
rejection was too hard to handle?
Life is all about risks and it requires you to jump.
Don't be a person who has to look back and wonder what they would have
done, or
could have had.
*What would you do if your best friend died tomorrow and you never got
to tell them how you felt?

(even if it is that you don't care anymore)

*What would you do if you loved someone
more than ever and you couldn't

have them?
*What would you do if you never got the chance to say I am friends with
all of my family and they know I love them?*
People live, but people die.

In LIFE, LOVE is NEVER planned nor does it happen for a reason.
But when the LOVE is REAL, it becomes your PLAN for LIFE and your REASON for
LIVING!
Do not keep this message. The Lotus Totus must leave your hands in
6 MINUTES. Otherwise you
will get a very unpleasant surprise. This is true, even if you are
superstitious, agnostic, or otherwise faith impaired.

ONE. Give people more than they expect and do it cheerfully.

TWO. Marry a man/woman you love to talk to. As you get
older, their conversational skills will be as important as any other.

THREE. Don't believe all you hear, spend all you have or
sleep all you want.

FOUR. When you say, "I love you", mean it.

FIVE. When you say, "I'm sorry", look the person in the eye.

SIX. Be engaged at least six months before you get married.

SEVEN. Believe in love at first sight.

EIGHT. Never laugh at anyone's dreams. People who don't have
dreams don't have much.

NINE. Love deeply and passionately. You might get hurt but it's the only way
to live life completely.

TEN. In disagreements, fight fairly. No name calling.

ELEVEN. Don't judge people by their relatives.

TWELVE. Talk slowly but think quickly.

THIRTEEN. When someone asks you a question you don't want to
answer, smile and ask, "Why do you want to know?"

FOURTEEN. Remember that great love and great achievements
involve great risk.

FIFTEEN. Say "bless you" when you hear someone sneeze.

SIXTEEN. When you lose, don't lose the lesson.

SEVENTEEN. Remember the three R's: Respect for self; Respect
for others; and Responsibility for all your actions.

EIGHTEEN. Don't let a little dispute injure a great
friendship.

NINETEEN. When you realize you've made a mista ke, take
immediate steps to correct it.

TWENTY. Smile when picking up the phone. The caller will
hear it in your voice.

TWENTY ONE. Spend some time alone.

Please, no pushing!
